New Images

I have posted new images of my encaustic art. All are done on wood boards. I am exploring the use of heat as a tool for painting other than just for fusing. I use the butane, propane torch and/or hot air gun to push the limits of the wax. It has brought about some great results. I am very pleased and enthusiastic about this process.

My goal for this site is to allow the opportunity for my students and artists using encaustic wax medium as well as anyone interested in the art of encaustics, a place to exchange ideas, share experiences, receive information on the wax process, recommend books on the subject and about classes and workshops that I am doing and in the future will be conducting.So keep on waxing...wax on ~ wax off.
